III. SCOPE OF WORK Minimum Requirements: 1) Recent experience in recruiting for executive positions. 2) Experience in recruiting for the public and/or non-profit sectors is preferred. Scope of Work: The Consultant is expected to engage in an active search to identify, locate, recruit, and submit for consideration qualified candidates for the position of Director of the Economic Development Division of Satl Lake County. Candidate information will be submited to the Recuritment Committee, which includes the Director of the Office of Regional Development (ORD), the Deputy Mayor for Regional Operations, and the Mayor. The Consultant is exptected to: 1) Meet with hiring officials from the County to define the “ideal candidate.” 2) Prepare and execute a multi-format regional/national search for potential candidates. 3) Engage in recruitment activities, including advertising the position and promoting the position to potential candidates, including candidates identified by the Recruiting Committee (RC) and/or industry contacts identified by the RC. 4) Manage responses to inquiries from potential candidates. 5) Screen candidates, including resume review, verification of candidate qualifications, and public profile challenges and/or opportunities. 6) Provide advice and consultation during the interview, salary negotiation, and selection stages of recruitment. The Agency will provide: 1) A job description and required and preferred candidate qualifications. 2) Access to the RC members to provide an “ideal candidate” profile. 3) Limited support in preparing marketing materials.
