The Department is seeking to replace its aging Trane FAUA 340 air handler unit with a new heat pump rooftop unit with energy recovery in the same location. The project will also include the replacement of certain exhaust fans and extension of exhaust ductwork. The SMU air handler unit provides heating and cooling to the facility’s special management unit, a medical isolation room, and laundry and janitor closets. The scope of services for this project includes, but may not be limited to, schedule and cost estimating, preliminary design, design development, contract documents, and administration of bidding and construction. The AE Consultant may be required to coordinate this work or additional work with other consultants contracted by the Owner.
