The Agency intends to make a single award to the most responsive and responsible bidders for the work under this RFB. See RFB Section 13.a Award Basis for more Contract award information. A Bidder must be able to provide all goods and services and meet all the requirements requested in this solicitation and the successful Bidder (the Contractor) shall remain responsible for Contract performance. Contractor Responsibilities Prior to Assignment. Each assigned nursing staff person must have a minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience specializing in dialysis. The Contractor shall have a process for providing Dialysis nursing staff with necessary training or for determining when previous training is equivalent in content and length with the Contractor’s requirements and obligations under the Contract, as well as with applicable law and regulations. This process shall also include the nurse’s demonstration of proficiency in the subjects taught. Prior to a Dialysis nursing staff member working at the Center, the Contractor shall ensure and document that each nurse staff member of the Contractor assigned to work at the Center has passed a medical examination including the following: This examination shall be completed by a physician or Nurse Practitioner and shall include, at a minimum, the following: A tuberculosis test of a type acceptable for licensure standard or other applicable regulations. Employee’s history of communicable disease. Status of Hepatitis B immunity. Proof that employee is free from the use of illegal unprescribed drugs. Employee’s statement of general health. Each employee shall be certified free of tuberculosis before being assigned to work at the Center, be screened annually thereafter, and remain tuberculosis free for the full duration of the Contract
