he Contractor shall ensure that all professional staff assigned to work at the Center shall: Be certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant-Dialysis Technician from the Board of Nursing. (CCHT) Perform all other duties in accordance with any written instructions per the Patient Care Plan. Utilize the nursing process in providing safe, effective, and efficient nursing care. (d) Assess patient needs and problems in illness and health. Consult with nursing staff and other team members at the Center regarding issues related to patient care. Communicate clearly and understandably in English; both in writing and orally. Utilize positive interpersonal skills. Interact effectively with supervisors and staff at the Center Document pertinent observations in patient’s progress notes on official chart in residence. Attend to the patient infections and dispose of infectious waste in accordance with Infection Control procedures, using Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Blood borne pathogens, Standard and Transmission Based Precautions guidelines.
