This project will need the basement stairs replaced before any other work begins. Remove the existing stair assembly and disregard. Cut three new stringers to fit into the opening. These stringers may need to be cut a little shorter run then normal due to the already giving well measurements. Risers and solid treads will need to be glued and screwed per stringer. Handrail will need to be installed and secured on one side of the well. No less then three handrail brackets per railing. Railing requirements must follow IRC2015 for the height, strength, and configuration. An electrician will need to wire up 4 keyless light fixtures in the basement. There will need to be one single pull switch at the top of the stairwell controlling all four lights. Install Smoker/Co2 combos installed in the basement near the gas fired appliance and on the first floor as well. The electrician will need to install an outlet at the sump pit location, that will be determined by the water proofing specialist.
