A. General Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive sealed bids from 3M Scott-approved suppliers for the Provision of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Parts and Service on an Annual Contract with four (4) additional one-year options to renew. The Contract shall provide a source including but not limited to SCBA Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Parts and Service. 1. The service provider agrees to comply with all applicable laws. At the service provider’s expense, during the term of this agreement, the provider will maintain all licenses, permits, approvals, authorizations, registrations, and certifications, if any, required by applicable laws in connection with the performance of its obligations. 2. The service provider must be an authorized 3M Scott-approved distributor and an authorized 3M Scottapproved repair facility responsible for providing specific manufacturer products and services and have the authorization to ship from manufacturer’s stock. 3. Service provider shall comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to those set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the National Institute of Occupational Safety Hazards (NIOSH), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the US Department of Transportation (DOT), and 3M Scott. 4. The service provider shall have experience over the last five (5) years as an authorized 3M Scott-approved distributor and an authorized 3M Scott-approved repair facility to government institutions of comparable size and projected volume. 5. An account representative shall be assigned to the Gwinnett County account as a direct contact for account management. B. 3M Scott SCBA Parts and Service Specifications 1. All parts and/or service shall comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to those set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the National Institute of Occupational Safety Hazards (NIOSH), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the US Department of Transportation (DOT), and 3M Scott.
