This project includes but is not limited to the following: • Disconnect and remove two existing data center cooling unit air handlers in two different data rooms. • Removal of existing data air unit rooftop chilling units. • Sealing of existing chiller piping during replacement to prevent infiltration of debris or contaminants. • Installation of new data center air handlers and air-cooled chiller units at same locations as existing units. • Replacement of two chiller unit glycol injection pumps located on the roof. • Conduct replacement installation in a way that minimizes down time of the cooling systems in every way possible. • Additional option proposal to remove 2nd floor data center cooling unit completely and replace with minisplit HVAC system due to planned minimal heat load in the future of this area. • Pressure test of existing chiller lines to ensure they are free of any potential leaks and repair of any leaks found. (No known leaks at this time.) • All equipment, materials, tools and equipment needed to perform the scope of work will be the awarded contractor’s responsibility to supply. • Daily cleanup of construction debris and tools. • Final, detailed cleaning of work areas upon completion of the project. • Manufacturer recommended start up of new cooling systems. • In-service for County I.T. staff and County Maintenance Staff on operation and maintenance upon completion. • Any demolition of the existing building must be approved by the Mclean County Project Manager. • Any demolition conducted by the installation contractor will need to be repaired back to the existing condition or in a way that is approved by the Mclean County Project Manager.
