A. The power pedestal shall be provided with the following: 1. Panelboard: 120VAC, 125A copper bus, 8-space, 1 phase, 2 wire. 2. Main Breaker: 100 Amp Fame, 30 Amp Trip, 1-pole, Bolt-on, 22k AIC rating or higher if required. 3. Branch Breakers: 7 – 20/1P. 4. Receptacle: NEMA 5-20R, 120 VAC, 20 amp, duplex, ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI), Leviton GFNT2-W or approved equal. 5. Breakers shall be Eaton type BAB bolt on breakers or approved equal with AIC ratings as shown on the Drawings. B. Service entrance conduit shall be a maximum of 2" in diameter. C. Cabinet Enclosure: 1. Cabinet shall be 12" Wide by 42" Tall and 8" Deep and shall meet EUSERC requirements (height of enclosure may be adjusted based on metered/unmetered configuration). Enclosure shall be fabricated from 1/8" 5052 H-32 aluminum. Interior of enclosure shall be fabricated from 14 gauge cold rolled aluminum and painted white. The outside of the enclosure shall be constructed of mill finished aluminum. All welded seams shall be continuous. 2. Service enclosure shall have a full length deadfront with stainless hinge. Enclosure shall be UL 508 industrial control panel labeled for service entrance equipment. 3. Service enclosure shall have a fully framed side hinged outer door with swaged close tolerance sides for flush fit with top drip line and flossed cell neoprene flange compressed gaskets. Deadfront shall be fully hinged with ¼ turn latch and knurled knobs. Deadfront door shall be hinged on the same side as exterior door and open a minimum of 100 degrees. 4. The removable backpan shall be mounted on 4 welded 1/4" studs. All circuit breakers shall be mounted in a horizontal position. 5. Enclosure shall be completely prewired in the factory. Wiring will be to NEMA IIB standards showing external connections and external equipment. All bussing shall be UL approved copper. Each circuit breaker shall be identified with its circuit number and description on a phenolic label attached with minimum #4-40 stainless steel machine screws. Wiring schematics will be Computer Aided Drafted to include all external equipment and connections per NEMA IIB. As-built factory drawings shall be enclosed in clear plastic and held inside the outer door by welded hooks. D. Manufacturer will be required to furnish independent laboratory certification of metal preparation and finish and to confirm that the overall product meets these Specifications.
