The intent of this specification is to establish contractual price agreements (labor and material(s) for emergency repair and maintenance on as requested basis only, of the below listed sewer pumping and water booster stations in which there is a total of 14 stations; (5) wet well-dry pit, (6) submersible pump, and (3) water booster stations. Bristow Street Sewer Pump Station Saugus Ave Sewer Pump Station Aberdeen Ave Sewer Pump Station Park Street Sewer Pump Station Laurel Street Sewer Pump Station Lynnhurst Sewer Pump Station (Walnut Street) Route 1 North Sewer Pump Station Lamplighter Way Sewer Pump Station Blacksmith Way Sewer Pump Station Morris Place Sewer Pump Station Lincoln Avenue Sewer Pump Station Oceanview Ave Water Booster Station Juniper Drive Water Booster Station Pinetree Drive Water Booster Station Maintenance includes: replacement of pumps, compressors, electrical components, troubleshooting, repair and replacement of malfunctioning or inoperable equipment, rebuilding valves and compressors, float replacement, and any other work deemed necessary to repair or maintain the above named stations. This work will also include the repair and maintenance of emergency power generators both stationary and portable for the sewer and water stations. Contractor must include with their bid, a list of any repairs that they will not include under maintenance. The Contractor should be experienced in evaluating lift station and booster station equipment, evaluating options, and specifying replacement equipment. This experience should include developing alternative repair solutions to similar mechanical and electrical components, evaluating these alternatives and making associated recommendations.
