1. The Contractor shall perform annual safety inspections on all elevators, escalators and wheelchair lifts pursuant to Florida Statutes 399.061 (1) (a), ASME A17.1 and its latest addenda, and all other applicable statutes, laws and regulations. 2. The Contractor shall schedule all inspections with the City’s Representative where the elevator equipment is located. 3. The Contractor shall schedule all witnessing of test procedures with the Maintenance Contractor and thereafter notify the City’s Representative of the date and time inspections and witnessing of tests were completed. Approval by the City’s Representative will be dependent upon the activities being conducted at the City facility at which the tests or inspections are scheduled for. 4. Annual Safety Inspections is to include the following in the Unit Price on the Bid Pricing Table: A. Initial site visit to review each elevator’s equipment prior to the inspection initiation. B. State of Florida Safety Code Inspection. C. State of Florida Safety Code Witnessing of Test Procedures. D. All re-visits for the completion of the inspection. E. Final review of the inspection with the City’s Representative upon completion of the inspection activities.
