SCC needs to acquire one used Truck Tractor with a sliding fifth wheel and a sleeper berth. The truck tractor must be a 2020 model or newer. While Mack is preferred it is not required. Offerors shall specify the manufacturers make and model. SCC reserves the right to purchase additional trucks under this agreement during its contractual term. The Specifications are as follows: • Cost per unit, including taxes and paperwork fees, must not exceed $60,000. • Mileage: must not exceed 300,000 • Diesel Engine with 445 horsepower or better • Oil level checked and transmission fluid must register as accepted normal levels. • Truck Tractor must be current on all standard maintenance and offeror shall submit the vehicle maintenance history with their bid response. • Unit must have an automatic transmission • Tires on drive wheels must match (radial) and have at least 75% of (11/32” or better tread wear remaining. • All Component equipment, whether manufacturer installed, or aftermarket must be in good operating condition and meet or exceed MFG Standards. To include but not be limited to gauges, interior/exterior lights, heat and A/C, all instrumentation warning systems, and accessory equipment. • All air and hydraulic systems shall be in good operating condition, free of leaks and meet or exceed MFG standards. • All windows, windshield glass, lenses and lighting covers will be in place and free of cracks or breakage. • The heater, defroster, and air conditioning must be in good working condition. All fans must blow at each setting. • Interior seating, vinyl and carpet shall be free of holes, rips, and tears or major stains. Driver seat shall be equipped with “air ride” suspension. The Passenger seat is preferred to be equipped with air ride capability, but not required. • The truck exterior shall be in good condition, free of rust, major damage or dents. • Paint shall be in good condition, showing only normal wear. Prefer exterior color to be white but not required. All colors will be considered, except other than standard MFG colors. • No dealer advertising or commercials signs attached to the vehicle other than MFG will be accepted.
