The work consists of the remediation of asbestos, lead, and mold as identified in the complete survey reports included by request from David Tracy at davidstracy13@gmail.com. The reports are available via a DropBox link due to their size. These houses will be rehabilitated, so air monitoring is also required after all remediation work is completed. 3 All remediation work shall be performed by a qualified contractor licensed by the State of Illinois for asbestos, mold, and lead abatement, and proof of proper disposal of all hazardous materials must be submitted to the Village prior to payment. Submit proof of license(s) with bid. Disposal of hazardous material shall be performed in accordance with all applicable state and local regulations. Proper safeguards shall be initiated to reduce the emission of dust during demolition, handling and transport of asbestos containing material.
