The CITY wishes to move forward with the design and construction of the Fire Training Center in Bloomington, Indiana. Fire Training Center – An 18,000 square foot, Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB), on the site 3410 S Walnut Street in Bloomington, Indiana that will house the offices for the Bloomington Fire Department Training and Logistics personnel. Site improvements will include a new parking lot, curb cut onto South Walnut Street, and connection to the Training Tower to the southwest of the site. Construction shall be accordance with the architect’s site plan, building plans, sections and elevations, building systems and construction materials. The CITY has selected MartinRiley to perform all design services for the Fire Training Center. The selected CMc will be expected to coordinate the Fire Training Center with the project team. The CITY has begun design work on this project and construction will commence not later than January, 2025.
