The Department of Transportation, Division of Maintenance (STATE) is soliciting proposals for the purchase of lidar based over-height detection system to detect and warn drivers of a low bridge near the 16th St crossing on US in Minot, ND. The department will also be purchasing a lidar based 3D vehicle measurement system to be installed on I-29 NB near RP 23. The department has hired SRF Consulting Group to develop the plan set to support the sensors. The plan set will consist of the following work. a. Design of the DMS for each system b. Design and siting of mounting structures. The contractor will work with SRF Consulting Group to make sure the mounting structures are designed correctly for each sensor. c. Design electrical requirements. d. Design integration of detection system with DMS.
