The Work generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following major elements: 1. Removal of building materials and components, including selected existing mechanical and electrical systems. 2. Offsite disposal of all removed materials. 3. Removal of existing masonry and laminated gypsum partition walls. Salvage existing brick for reinstallation at removed openings. 4. Construction of new gypsum board walls. 5. Removal of existing counters and casework. 6. Provision and installation of new counters, interior borrowed lites, and associated glazing. 7. Removal and replacement of existing ceiling tiles. Cleaning of existing grid where indicated to remain. 8. Removal and replacement of existing flooring and base, where indicated on Drawings. 9. Removal and replacement of existing doors, frames, glazing, hardware, and associated components. 10. Painting of new and existing substrates where indicated. 11. Provision and installation of new transfer duct and ceiling outlets. 12. Removal/relocation of existing and/or rewiring of existing fixtures. 13. Provision and installation of new receptacles and data outlets on new vestibule wall. 14. Provision and installation of new access controls and ADA intercom station where indicated and relocation of an existing panic button.
