The Contractor shall furnish and install all Precast Concrete Bike Lane Separators anchored at the locations shown on the plans. Precast Concrete Bike Lane Separators shall be made of Portland cement concrete and reinforcing steel cast in rigid molds. Concrete shall be 5000 psi with air entrained 5-7%. The finished units shall be uniform in shape, size finish and color. Reinforcing steel shall conform to ASTM A615 deformed steel bars and placed with 2” cover. Anchorage pins shall be No. 7 reinforcing steel with a minimum length of 22 inches, with two pins per unit. Shop drawings shall be obtained by contractor and approved by Project Manager prior to purchase of curb. Flexible delineator posts shall be considered incidental to the cost of the unit. Layout will be performed by contractor and approved by Project Manager prior to installation of curb. Precast Concrete Bike Lane Separators will be measured by each unit installed, complete in place. Precast Concrete Bike Lane Separators will be paid at the contract unity price per each, which shall be full compensation for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the work.
