The Exeter Housing Authority (EHA) is seeking a qualified provider of bill credits under the New Hampshire Distributed Generation Net-Metering program otherwise known as Community Solar (CS). The EHA is in Unitil’s electric service territory, has Exeter Community Power as its ESCo supplier, and spent $44,573.58 in fiscal year 2023 on its combined cost for its consumption of 123,698 kWh. This usage comes from five (5) electric accounts, all of which are residential housing servicing low-income residents. The EHA would also like to extend the savings opportunity to the tenants that pay their own electric bills, and highest priority will be given to responses that are able to assist both the EHA’s accounts as well as the tenant accounts. The following is a list of properties and the number of apartments they contain: Squamscott View (85 units serving 89 low income residents), Linden Fields (15 units serving 47 residents), Auburn Street (3 units serving 8 residents), and Portsmouth Ave (4 units serving 12 residents).
