Contractor must provide a minimum of 1,500 seedlings per year. Species are as follows: Koa, Kopiko, Hame, Ohia, Iliahi Koa needs to be koa wilt disease resistant trees from Oahu All koa needs to have Geo-referenced field seed collection data utilizing the DOFAW Survey 123-koa for data recording and management All seeds must be from Oahu Location of where seeds were collected must be known for all seeds Provide a price per seedling, per species All seedlings must be inspected before delivery for weeds, pests, diseases, eggs, etc. by a third party inspector Seedlings must be at least 8” high upon delivery Containers will be dibble tubes Contractor must have at least 10 years of nursery experience with growing native Hawaiian species Nursery must be based on Oahu to prevent the import of weeds, pests, and diseases Contractor must be able to supply all the species and meet the specifications for all items listed above Seedlings to be delivered at various locations on Oahu Must be HCE compliant at the time of award Bids must be submitted through the HIePRO system
