Tasks associated with the work may include, but are not limited to the following: • Conduct Phase I, II and III environmental site assessments • Conduct peer review of temporary construction dewatering techniques and related construction methods • Conduct peer review of slope stability calculations, temporary shoring plans, special inspections requirements and related design submitted by developers during the permitting process • Develop landslide assessment and soils evaluation reports • Assess slope stability including possible liquefaction • Assess water balance and possible dewatering impacts to municipal supply wells • Assess new stormwater system or groundwater/soil analysis technologies • Provide geotechnical services in support of capital infrastructure projects during both design and construction phases of small projects • Conduct subsurface investigations • Oversee soil classifications, borings, materials testing and related work for geotechnical analysis • Review City design standards • Estimate infiltration rates and evaluating infiltration at construction sites • Meet technology requirements for working with the City, such as the use of unified communication and collaboration platforms (for example, Microsoft Teams and Bluebeam Revu), CAD systems, GIS platforms and databases (for example, EQuIS)
