1.01 WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT A. The work generally consists of the replacement in kind of a 225 ton water-cooled chiller associated pumps and accessories and any Alternates the Owner decides to accept. B. All work shown on drawings and/or called for in these specifications shall be performed under the General Contract, unless specifically noted to the contrary in the Contract Documents. C. The General Contractor shall be: 1. Responsible for the general management of the project. 2. Responsible for hiring all subcontractors. 3. The sole arbitrator of the division of work of all trades, including the patching, repairing, and repainting of existing surfaces that may be damaged by work under this contract. Repair to match surrounding surfaces.
