1.1 Evaluate existing grants processes, including the review of past grants received. The current process includes identifying grant opportunities, securing leadership review and approval, and developing proposals in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts. This phase may also involve representatives from HR, the Budget Office, the Office of Legal Affairs, the Comptroller’s Office, and Communications, particularly regarding budget matters. After a grant is submitted and awarded, we initiate post-award activities, including implementation, monitoring, and report development for the funder. 1.2 Conduct interviews with key stakeholders, including but not limited to: Legal Finance Research President/CAO SVP & Chief Government Affairs & External Relations University System of Maryland Foundation (USMF) Dean and representatives of the School of Cyber and Information Technology Advancement Services in Institutional Advancement (IA) AccelerEd Salesforce Team It is preferred that the Contractor be local to the Washington DC metro area for flexibility in scheduling meetings. It is anticipated that meetings will consist of both face-to-face and virtual. All travel to be in accordance with the UMGC Travel Policy.
