This project will be a non-exclusive continuing services contract to assist the City in working on both Public Works Department and Development Services Division projects. The consultant will serve as a partner to the City in order to expand the capability of Redmond staff to provide modeling related stormwater services to the community. The work included in this contract will include, but not be limited to: • Develop, update and/or maintain the existing and future conditions model for watersheds. • Flow monitoring and calibration of existing condition models • Hydrologic and Hydraulic modeling • Analyze models to identify stormwater infrastructure problems or needs • Provide modeling support for stormwater basin planning • Provide modeling support for the implementation of the City’s CIP • Provide easy to understand, presentation quality modeling results including GIS maps and graphics such as hydraulic grade profile and model output data, such as head & discharge at particular locations to inform City decision making and projects recommendation • Determine downstream impacts of development projects and recommend needed downstream improvements • Provide training and advice to City staff on modeling tools and practices and maintenance of the models • May include water quality modeling, including temperature modeling
