This project is to provide on-call traffic control planning and work zone management and control, while adhering to all OSHA rules and regulations, along with meeting PBOT standard specification requirements in section 00200-00228 https://www.portland.gov/transportation/engineering/construction-specifications#toc-standardspecifications Traffic Control Planning – includes providing written plans and traffic control diagrams necessary to protect BES employees required to conduct work in the right-of-way. Contractor may be required to provide the City’s Project Manager with information that supports acquisition of any required permits that may be warranted to successfully implement traffic control plans written and submitted. Work Zone Set-up and Management – Contractor will provide Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC) certified, or equivalent, staff and appropriate equipment to safely set-up work zones and manage work zones to ensure the safety of BES employees.
