Benton County is required to map and document stormwater outfall structures as part of its MS4 permit to ensure proper management and regulatory compliance. The outfall mapping project will help in maintaining an accurate inventory of outfall locations, conditions, and other relevant data necessary for stormwater management and reporting. Benton County Planning Department is seeking qualified firms to submit proposals for mapping outfall structures in the unincorporated MS4 area of Benton County. The selected firm must create an inventory for outfall structures in the County MS4 Area, and map the locations of outfall structures in a format compatible with ArcGIS. Total area of the County MS4 is approximately 9,931 acres. The boundary of the MS4 area is available to view on the Benton County Basemap. The product shall contain the location of all outfall structures meeting the definition of 40 C.F.R. § 122.2, as well as the names and location of all surface waters of the State that receive discharges from those outfalls.
