a. Participate in an intake meeting with MDH and the Contract Monitor to fully understand all requirements of the role. b. Source, recruit, screen, and interview candidates to determine if they meet the minimum qualifications as set forth by the job description and statutorily established requirements to fulfill the position of Chief Executive Officer at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center. 1. The vendor should also assess candidates as being a good fit for the role given the forensic nature of the Hospital. c. Conduct preliminary screenings of resumes, biographies, and on-line presences of viable candidates. d. Conduct an in-depth, behavioral based interview via electronic video conference to confirm that the candidate fully meets the relevant experience and educational requirements. e. Conduct necessary background checks, verification of employment histories, and verification of licensure (if applicable) for all applicants to be submitted to MDH. i. For candidates with applicable clinical licensure, the review of licensure status with relevant state boards of licensure for disciplinary history and/or pending investigations/cases. f. Submit summaries of well-qualified, suitable candidates obtained through items b and/or c to MDH Office of Human Resources, the MDH Healthcare System, and the MDH Office of the Secretary. g. Coordinate with MDH regarding the candidates that are to be selected for interviews and facilitate scheduling interviews between the candidates and MDH. h. Prepare a list of interview questions with a response rating tool appropriate for the executive leadership role, share with MDH for review and input prior to finalizing. i. Provide and vet candidates’ references to MDH as requested. Conduct additional review of candidates references beyond those provided by the candidate at the direction of MDH.
