● A review of the City’s Code of Ordinances relating to personnel policies, procedures, rules and regulations (Chapter 19) to ascertain gaps in equity, inclusivity, and belonging. ● Assessment of current recruiting/retention practices, training and development programs, and career advancement opportunities (promotional pathways). ● Assessment of Internal focus groups to develop deeper understanding of the gaps in employee engagement with an intentional emphasis on marginalized identities and historically underrepresented staff members. ● Identifying any challenges or barriers that currently exist in creating a transformative workplace culture. ● Assessment of the alignment of equity goals identified in the strategic plan. ● Presentation & Recommendations (Equity Roadmap)
