The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials and all else necessary for the sewer line replacement as listed below: • Saw cut the asphalt roadway over the existing sewer line. • Asphalt to be removed and discarded off site. • Trench from the City’s sewer main line to where the sewer exists to the building. • Install a 4” SDR 35 PVC pipe with proper connections. • Install a cleanout just outside the building and plumb to finish grade. • Install new schedule 40 PVC into the building and connect to the existing PVC drainage. • Sewer lines should be bedded in crushed stone and inspected by City officials. • Once inspected, the service will be properly backfilled and compacted in 1-foot lifts. • Install temporary asphalt roadway patch, loam, and seed disturbed areas. • Return 60 days after excavation to complete the cut back and final asphalt patch to City specifications. If work is done in the winter paving should be done in the spring. • Obtain a Sewer Connection Permit from Laconia DPW. No fees required.
