The Christina School District is seeking the assistance of a professional services firm specializing in K-12 education executive searches for a Superintendent. The Christina School District is looking for a firm that will work in an advisory role to the Board of Education (BOE) to provide the following services: • Advise Christina BOE on a search/hiring approach that meets our needs and our timing requirements (see Search Process - Anticipated Milestones). • Advise the Christina BOE on a compensation package, commensurate knowledge, skills, ability, and educational background as well as the local market, that facilitates successful recruitment of the type and quality Superintendent that we need and desire. • Assist the Christina BOE and interested stakeholder groups with understanding the district’s demographics and candidate selection criteria. • Assist the Christina BOE in the development of search criteria that incorporate our district’s goals and leadership characteristics that the Christina BOE and community consider requisite for success. • Develop a candidate identification, recruitment, and selection process that identifies a pool of highly qualified, diverse, and competent candidates in districts with a similar achievement and community context, reflecting familiarity with our students’ needs.
