HHS intends to contract with Theiagen Consulting to complete the following tasks: Host the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for public health bioinformatics Onboard laboratory scientists into the Terra bioinformatics platform using GCP as the backend Build reproducible, standardized, and portable workflows in the WDL programming language to run specifically on the Terra platform Distribute the workflows through the Dockstore.org platform for public use Train public health scientists and epidemiologists to use these tools Perform the genomic analysis in Terra when necessary Maintain, revise, troubleshoot, customize, and improve workflows as best practices evolve Provide dashboards using Google Data Studio (GDS) for visual consumption of bioinformatic results generated in Terra Host fortnightly calls for training and updates
