Conduct individual business visits to site lists generated by the Source Control Inspector. Conduct walk-through of exterior of businesses to assess, document, and report source control concerns. Communicate site issues, data, and photos for referrals to Source Control Inspector to conduct follow up inspections. Engage with business owners/managers to educate them on source control program and inspection requirements. Promote cooperation and relationship building to establish good rapport with City of Bellevue’s required source control compliance program. Collect data to capture current contact information for businesses and property managers. Document water and solid waste issues discovered during visits. Offer and deliver spill kits and training materials as needed to businesses who have not previously received spill kit program outreach. Install common area dumpster stickers and educational materials as needed for sites who have not previously received dumpster program outreach. Prepare spreadsheet containing all field data and a final report summarizing methods, efforts, and lessons learned/recommendations. Requirements: Must be familiar with Source Control Requirements for Phase II Jurisdictions. Must have experience conducting Pollution Prevention Assistance and/or Source Control Inspections. Must be able to provide in-language support/materials for businesses requiring other languages besides English (specifically Spanish, Chinese, and Vietnamese). Must have previous experience with spill kit outreach. Must have previous experience with dumpster lid outreach program.
