• The Vendor will provide waste haul off and disposal service for the County’s facility: The National Equestrian Center; further described in bid specifications as “Facility”. • The Vendor must provide both manure and garbage haul off and disposal services. • The Vendor must be able to provide 3 (three), 30-40yd dumpsters for manure. As the Facility’s needs vary from week to week, additional dumpsters may be needed on a weekly basis. • The Vendor must be able to provide at least 1 (one), 30-40yd dumpster for garbage. As the Facility’s needs very from week to week, additional dumpsters may be needed on a weekly basis. • The Vendor must be able to haul off and replace all 30-40yd dumpsters at least twice every week. • The Vendor must utilize either on call or next day services and may NOT require a consistent weekly pick-up schedule as the Facility’s needs vary from week to week. • The Vendor must be able to place dumpsters where the County contact requires them to on National Equestrian Center property as seen in, but not limited to, where identified on the location map. • The County reserves the right to request changes in both the size and the service frequency of the waste containers without voiding the existing service agreement with the Vendor. • The Vendor shall include all current fuel and environmental compliance costs in the waste hauling charges quoted in response to this bid request. Accordingly, the current operating conditions shall serve as the base point when the County evaluates any request from the Vendor to initiate any surcharges or additional fees in order to continue providing the subject waste disposal services. • The Vendor shall charge the County based on the rated volume of the container serviced by the Vendor. For example, the Vendor shall charge the County for 60 yards of waste removed in a week if the Vendor services a 30-yard container two days per week regardless of the amount of actual waste removed by the Vendor during the week. • The successful bidder will send a monthly invoice to St. Charles County Government; Parks Department; 201 North Second Street, Room 541; Saint Charles, MO 63301. • If the Vendor misses a scheduled waste pickup, the Vendor will be held responsible for removing the waste from the County facility within twenty-four hours of the deficiency notification provided by the County. If the Vendor fails to remove the waste from the County’s facility within twenty-four hours of the deficiency notification, the Vendor must issue a credit memo to the County for the appropriate volume of the waste container(s) that the Vendor failed to service appropriately. This credit process must be followed by the Vendor for each individual service failure incident reported by the County. Failure to comply may be consideration for termination.
