1. Existing Fleet Analysis- The plan shall include an in-depth analysis of the current Motor Pool fleet, with a goal of identifying vehicle types/classifications, usage patterns, review of available telematics data (some vehicles are utilizing Verizon Connect GPS Services), fuel consumption, and other data identified by the Proposer that will generate useful information for the subsequent tasks. The data shall be utilized to generate a comprehensive report of current fleet composition and usage. 2. Electrification Strategy- Based on the data generated from Task 1, the plan will identify a prioritized strategy for fleet electrification with an emphasis on vehicles (listed by department) that are best suited for short, intermediate and long-term transitions based on usage, costs to implement and identified potential long-term cost savings. 3. Deployment Plan- Plan shall include a recommended long-term annual procurement plan to meet the requirements of State standards, as well as county vehicle needs. The plan shall include annual cost for procurement, as well as estimated annualized maintenance and operations costs of the Fleet. The document shall clearly articulate the estimated annual cost of operations. 4. Infrastructure Plan- Based on Task 1, a plan shall be included to identify needed charging locations, including the recommended make up of charging equipment (Type 1, 2, or 3 based on usage), as well as a high-level review of electrical infrastructure required at each location to meet charging demands. The plan shall not include engineered electrical drawings, but rather an analysis of electrical demand needs for County to use at a later date in cooperation with the local power company and electrical engineers. 5. Funding Review- Final document will include a thorough review of funding strategies and opportunities to assist with implementation of the Fleet Electrification Plan.
