The selected playground vendor will provide playground design for an expandable inclusive and accessible play area, along with manufacture, delivery and installation of playground equipment and poured in place safety surfacing. An ADA-accessible route to the playground from parking area will be performed under a separate contract. The existing swings, installed in 2024, will remain in place. The proposed expansion will include replacement of play area composed of old, outdated equipment. The area of this space for this project is approximately 5,000 square feet (see Exhibit A). The goal for the playground expansion will be equipment and features that support inclusive and wheelchair accessible play options for children aged 5-12.
