Design of 910 Ranch Signs | The individual signs (Up to seven [7] different large, 3’ x 2’ and four [4] small, 12” x 18” designs) will provide visitors with information on stewardship principles, recreation opportunities, and general details about the property. Two [2] of the large signs must be dedicated to the history of the 910 Ranch and surrounding Utah regional history. One [1] sign design must be a template for displaying the Conservation Easement/Acquisition Details. Collaboration with the Lands and Natural Resources Department staff is required for integrating County-approved content with design. Original images or illustrations will be permitted. Examples of topics for signs include: • Conservation Easement/Acquisition Details (required) | Template for properties which have been acquired or protected with Summit County’s support. Details to include in the template include photos, a narrative of former property owners and their reasons for conserving the property (landowner/former landowner profile), the funding source and mechanism, and a space to include a thank you note to Summit County residents where tax dollars were utilized in the process and area for sponsor/supporter logos. • Description of Property (required) | Description of the 910 Ranch, its acreage, topography, geographical location and significant adjacent lands with relevant images and maps. • History and Timeline (required) | Description of the property’s significance to Utah history and agriculture and description of the history of the historic Jeremy Ranch and the 910 Ranch with relevant images and maps. • Recreation and Leave No Trace Principles | Description of Leave No Trace and/or stewardship principles and how they relate to recreation with relevant images and maps.
