Summit County is looking for a qualified firm to survey Matterhorn Terrace in preparation for the road's reconstruction. The road is approximately 1825' in length. Scope of Work • Establish and stake existing property lines and road right-of-way and tie to existing section monumentation. • Survey existing road centerline and tie to existing section monumentation and right-ofway. • Survey existing topography within the county’s right of way (utilities, drainage facilities, driveways, fence lines, roadways, trees, signs, review and gather blue stakes data, side slopes etc.). • In addition to the Matterhorn Terrace main alignment, Survey 100 feet at each intersecting street. • Collect sufficient survey data to develop a terrain model with 1-foot contours. Points should not exceed 25 feet apart. • Establish local control points (minimum of 4 per project area) for future construction surveying. Mark each control point with its Point #, North, East, Elevation. • All survey information to be submitted in an ASCII file (Point #, North, East, Elevation, Description). • All survey information to be submitted in an AutoCAD 2018 drawing(*.dwg) file surface model with line work calling out utilities, edge of asphalt, unique objects, monuments, etc. • A Record of Survey plat showing right-of-way and adjacent property lines, road centerline and edge of existing pavement, shall be submitted on mylar and electronically in AutoCAD format (v. 2018 or newer). The Plat must be submitted as a “Record of Survey” to the Summit County Recorder’s Office.
