The general scope of work for the Project includes, but is not limited to, utility coordination and relocations, earthwork, berms, natural channels, integrated mitigation areas and installation of very large storm drain system, and may include guardrail, handrail, grading, paving, driveway matchups, fencing and hydroseeding. Currently Civiltec Engineering is designing a large storm drain system (10-foot storm drainpipe) within this corridor so proposals should include past experience constructing very large storm drain systems. The current plan calls for a single, primary conveyance from the National Forest boundary on the westside of the Switchback neighborhood, crossing Hwy. 89 and extending to an area east of the East Valley Baptist Church. The construction of this large storm drainpipe system in a very limited space within a residential area will require substantial and special shoring so proposals should include experience with not only constructing a very large storm system but also experience with substantial and special shoring.
