All work will be completed in our main academic / administrative building Completely re-pipe the domestic cold, hot, and hot return water distribution system main lines. All lines will be replaced up to where each room branches off. There will be isolation valves for each room, each floor and each wing installed during this re-pipe. The copper will be removed and hauled offsite. 4” main lines will be copper, everything under the size 4“ will be type A-PEX. All lines will be insulated. If there are any areas that have to be cut out to access the existing water distribution system and install the new system, the contractor will be responsible for the repairs. Some dorms have some cold water and all hot water being fed from the administrative building. Temporary cold water supply will need to be ran to the dorms. A temporary boiler will need to be provided to service the dorms will hot water de to the project.
