A Scope of Work may include, but is not limited to the following tasks: A. Pre-Design Phase 1. Definition of the level of commissioning for the project from whole building commissioning to particular areas of concern that may include exterior envelope, structure, electrical, lighting, interiors, plumbing, fire protection and or heating ventilation air conditioning systems. 2. Conduct pre-commissioning overview where project requirements are developed and defined. 3. Gather all pertinent information including program requirements, community context, codes, regulations, standards and guidelines, site and climate, facility functions, construction budget, building delivery schedule, training requirements, documentation requirements and operational and maintenance budgets. 3. Develop a commissioning team members and responsibilities matrix describing the roles and responsibilities of the essential members of the Commissioning Team. 4. Document Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) which provides the basic requirements from which all design, construction, acceptance, and operations decisions are made. 5. Develop preliminary estimates of CxA scope and budget to balance quality objectives for the project against the costs of achieving the desired levels of quality. 6.
