1) Contractor shall provide on-demand interpretation services to the City to include: i. On-demand Interpretation & Language Support (1) Provide an accessible on-demand service offering over-the-phone and video-remote interpreting services at the City Hall front desk and public facing City Department offices. (2) Deliver high-quality language interpretation support for various City Departments as they provide services to the public. (3) Ensure the accuracy and promptness of language services to meet the needs of the City’s diverse population including culturally appropriate interpretation services. ii. Training (1) Provide training workshop(s) for relevant City staff on effective use of telephone and virtual/video interpreting services. (2) Provide language interpretation training for relevant City staff on the how to assist residents with accessing and utilizing services. iii. Public Information and Accessibility (1) Develop and provide informational posters on how to access interpreting services (in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese, at minimum) for display in City Hall and in City Departments that are public facing. iv. Ensure that all informational materials are available in multiple languages: English, Spanish and Vietnamese, at minimum. v. Contractor shall furnish all personnel, materials, and equipment required to successfully complete the requested services and materials. vi. Contractor shall complete requested services and furnish requested materials within agreed upon timelines. vii. Contractor shall prepare and submit all relevant data, summaries, or reports required for ARPA funding, as requested by the ARPA Project Management Office.
