A. The Contractor will furnish all labor, supervision, materials, parts, equipment, and tools required to perform on-call repairs, replacements, alteration and/or maintenance of overhead doors, in accordance with the specifications set forth in this Agreement. B. The Contractor will provide materials of a quality equal to or exceeding that of original materials and/or of a quality compatible with pre-existing materials, as approved by the Superintendent of Buildings or DPW Designee. The Contractor will be responsible to assure that all materials used comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations and codes. C. The Work will include, but will not be limited to, the following repair and maintenance tasks: 1. Test operation of overhead door to identify problem(s). 2. Repair or replace broken door sections, door tracks, door opener motors, electric eyes, door springs, cables, rollers and hinges. 3. Repair or replace additional miscellaneous parts and equipment as required. 4. Service and level overhead doors in order to maintain proper function. 5. Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance to ensure that doors are functioning properly at all times. 6. The Contractor may be called upon to make any or all various alterations and repair work not specifically mentioned. D. The Work will include the repair and maintenance of all overhead doors present in City of Somerville buildings and schools. Door types include, but are not limited to: 1. Sectional doors (insulated and non-insulated) 2. Glass overhead doors 3. Rolling service doors 4. Shutter doors & counter shutters 5. Any other types?
