• The sterilizer must be new and never used. The sterilizer must have a minimum one-year warranty covering parts and labor starting from the date of completion of installation and start-up. The sterilization chamber must have a minimum fifteen-year warranty including parts and labor. • Successful bidder must have a factory trained and employed service technician based within 150 miles of the SWBNO Laboratory with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience that can respond to service calls within 1 business day. Successful bidder must provide the name(s) of the local service technician(s) and location(s) where they are based. • Successful bidder must provide product data sheet, and any other information necessary for review to determine if product meets specifications. • Sterilizer must be a free-standing unit enclosed in its own cabinet. It must not be an under-counter or counter-top unit. • Side panels of the sterilizer cabinet must be stainless steel and easily removable. • Front panels of the sterilizer cabinet must be either hinged or removable. • Sterilization chamber must have minimum internal dimensions of 16” high x 16” wide x 26” deep. • Sterilization chamber and steam jacket must be constructed of 316L stainless steel. • Sterilization chamber must have a lower rack and an adjustable intermediate shelf. • External dimensions must not exceed 36” deep x 26” wide x 75” high. Anything larger will not fit in our laboratory space. • Must have an integral 240V, 60Hz, 3-phase steam generator with automatic flush function. • Must have a single, front opening, vertical sliding door with a non-lubricated, steam activated seal. • Sterilizer must be capable of operating in gravity cycle modes and liquid cycle modes with controlled exhaust to prevent boiling over of liquids. • Must have electronics to display, monitor, and control all sterilizer operations and functions. Electronic control systems must be protected from heat and moisture. • Sterilizer must be capable of storing parameters for a minimum of 6 different user programmed cycles. • Must have a built-in printer to provide a record of each sterilization cycle’s parameters and operational performance. • Must have safety mechanisms to prevent the start of a sterilization cycle if the chamber door is not sealed and safety mechanisms to prevent opening of the door during a cycle. • Must have the capability to control cycle temperature based on a temperature probe in the drain and a temperature probe place in the load. Both temperatures drain probes and load probes must be provided. • Must provide manuals covering the operations and routine maintenance of the sterilizer. • Must be a Steris AMSCO LAB 110LS or approved equal.
