Research Vessel/Boat, Motor, & Trailer BOAT CONSTRUCTION: • Bay-boat design (see attachment) with center console toward rear of boat • 15-degree hull angle at water line • Total boat length between 19’ 6” and 20’ 6” • Beam width between 92” and 96” • Bottom width between 70” and 74” • Side depth between 24” and 28” • Transom height between 24” and 26” • Welded hull constructed of 0.125” aluminum • 0.125” flooring coated with non-slip protectant (e.g., truck bedliner) • Matching matte paint on boat • Front deck and back deck as needed with center well at least 100” from front to back decks • Ribs visible on inside of center well to maximize floor space • Aluminum flat top center console mounted on floor with windshield and grab rail • Leaning post or seat for driver • Welded transducer mounting plate on transom • Accessible fuel tank between 10 and 14 gallons in covered compartment in back deck • Collapsible T-top at console for sun protection with appropriate floor reinforcement (see attachment). Boat must fit under 10-foot-tall garage door when T-top is either collapsed or extended. MOTOR AND ELECTRICAL • New 150 HP outboard motor • Motor fitted with appropriate controls (e.g., throttle and tilt/trim) on right side of console • Motor monitoring gauge mounted in console • Hydraulic steering • Cranking battery for motor • Motor rigged and ready to run • Automatic bilge pump at least 500GPH with switch on console • Washdown pump, at least 500GPH with switch on console, hose and fittings included • Bow and stern navigation lights with switch on console • Dedicated switch panel on console with above switches • At least 6-gang fuse panel mounted under the console for pumps, lights, and auxiliary power • Transom saver • Stainless steel propellor
