A. The contractor is furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, overhead to include travel, and incidentals as necessary to complete the following: 1. Replace the motor on Chilled Water (CHW) pump 2 with new. Motor must be in kind. Verify horsepower, voltage, and amperage ratings, frame, shaft size, etc. This will include replacing the coupling with a new in kind coupling. 2. Isolate pump. Turn off and secure the electric supply and the chilled water valves. Remove the electric connections and disconnect the motor coupling. Remove bolts holding the motor to the pump frame and remove the motor. 3. Install the new motor. Secure to the frame. Install new coupling. Connect electric and other connections. Ensure the new motor is properly wired. 4. Align motor and pump shafts. Use spacers as needed to ensure proper alignment. 5. Turn on the CHW valves and electric. 6. Ensure that the Variable Frequency Drive, VFD, is properly set. 7. Perform a comprehensive test to ensure proper operations.
