establish on-call Buy America audit and manufacturing inspection services for Community Transit’s vehicle procurements (transit bus only). Per these specifications, the Vendor shall perform necessary, thorough inspections of vehicles being manufactured or purchased; product quality assurance including but not limited to fit and finish, maintainability, and workability; as well as provide audits and certifications required for FTA Buy America regulations pertaining to rolling stock purchases. Community Transit considers the Vendor’s ability to plan, communicate and execute this service as a critical element during transit vehicle procurements. The Vendor shall provide a minimum of the following services under this contract: A. All required FTA audits and documentation pertaining to transit vehicle purchases. 1. Pre-award 2. Per vehicle Buy America in-plant inspection services 3. Final report of all vehicles purchased for that order *Note, In-Plant Inspection Services may not be required for builds of less then 10 buses. B. Technical configuration certification and reports C. Vehicle manufacturing quality assurance and reports D. Pre-delivery inspection and functionality testing reports E. Conditional acceptance testing at the manufacturer’s plant and reports
