1. Scope of Work Removal and replacement of apparatus bay ceilings: a) Remove existing light fixtures, ceilings fans, PA speakers, and disconnect existing unit heaters. b) Remove and dispose of existing tile and grid c) Furnish and Install USG #3270 (or equal) ½” 2x4 square edge vinyl stipple, fire rated gypsum board in Prelude (or equal) 15/16” steel grid, with white baked enamel finish. d) Reinstall all electrical and Fire Alarm devices removed during demolition as well as any other equipment removed to install the new ceiling. e) Temporary lighting shall be provided to keep the apparatus room functional during the construction period. Options: A) Please provide an option to install a PVC tile instead of the tile specified above. B) Please provide an option to replace the surface mounted lights with flush mounted light fixtures. C) Please provide an option to paint and repair the existing tracking instead of installing new tracking. Paint must have good coverage and be white. Like Rust-oleum or similar.
