1. The following Tree Removal procedures must be followed by the Contractor: a. All limbs, branches or portions of the main trunk shall be lowered by crane, or other approved best management practice equipment, to the ground to prevent damage to any structure, overhead or underground utilities, turf, adjacent trees, shrubs or other landscape materials unless otherwise specified. b. Cut all stumps up to 6” inches in height. 2. The following Disposal and Cleanup procedures must be followed by the Contractor: a. All material generated as a result of the removal or pruning of these trees will be disposed of by the Contractor and at the Contractor’s expense. b. In the event that an area is not cleaned to the satisfaction of the Public Works Director and/or Road Superintendent, the Contractor’s work at any time may be stopped and he/she may be required to clean the area in question before further work may proceed...
