City staff will provide the citizen input from the community surveys and community engagement sessions no later than December 15, 2024. 2.1.2 Links to HUD’s Fair Housing Planning Guide and the City’s 2020-2024 AI are included on page 4 of this RFP as references. 2.1.3 The Service Provider may use the HUD Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS) data for demographic analysis; however, HUD policy allows the use of more recent data if available. Service Provider’s option to use more recent data is acceptable. The data may identify potential protected classes or specific areas for discussion in the data analysis. 2.1.4 The Service Provider must also examine historical patterns of segregation, racially and ethnically concentrated areas of poverty, and disparities in access to education, employment, transportation, and health, as outlined in the AFFH rule.
