The City of Spokane, through its Parks and Recreation Department is initiating this Informal Request for Proposals (IRFP) to solicit Proposals for the design, purchase, and installation of a 2024 holiday light display at Riverfront Park. Lighting Design Services: Using the general design direction and proposed locations illustrated in Exhibit A – Holiday Light Locations, provide a proposed lighting display using descriptive copy and photos of similar projects or other illustrative examples. Please include any recommended revisions to design direction provided that might enhance or better suit the proposed landscape and allocated project budget. Light Procurement: Selected contractor will be required to source and procure all lighting elements. String lights and other branch wrap or tree lights will become property of the City of Spokane Parks and Recreation aside for GOBO lights or other lighting equipment that contractor may have in inventory. Please identify any rental lights and other lighting elements that will not become city property in your response. Light Labor (Set Up): Selected contractor will be responsible for all light set up including hanging lights, GOBO light projector set up, electrical distribution and rental of lifts.
