A. SCOPE: A.1. The Contractor shall provide all goods or services and deliverables as required, described, and detailed below and shall meet all service and delivery timelines as specified by this Contract. A.2. Definitions. For purposes of this Contract, definitions shall be as follows and as set forth in the Contract: a. Career Readiness Assessment(s) (“CRA”) – An assessment designed to measure an individual’s ability to demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to succeed in the workforce. Career Readiness Assessments must: include standardized, criterion-referenced measures of foundational workplace skills; adhere to the Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing developed by the American Educational Research Association, American Psychological Association, and National Council on Measurement in Education; assess and document readiness for a wide range of jobs; measure skills in a broad range of areas, including (a) critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving techniques in workplace situations, (b) reading and comprehending graphic materials, including charts, graphs, diagrams, and floor plans to solve work-related problems, and (c) reading and comprehending written information in documents including emails, letters, directions, signs, bulletins, policies, websites, contracts, and regulations to make decisions and solve problems; align with research-based skill requirement profiles for specific industries and occupations; lead to a nationally-recognized certificate or credential for participants who meet minimum proficiency requirements; be available in paper and computer-based formats; and align with a self-paced, modular skills curriculum that allows for skill remediation. For purposes of this Contract, an individual Career Readiness assessment may not exceed $30 per assessment per student. b. Career Readiness Assessment (“CRA”) Certificate – Any type of award, achievement, recognition, certification, designation, and/or certificate awarded by the Contractor to students for obtaining a specified score on the Contractor’s Career Readiness Assessment. c. Designated Point of Contact – An individual representing an LEA or public charter school who is responsible for the distribution and completion of Career Readiness Assessments to students
