The purpose of this project is to modernize two (2) in-ground hydraulic passenger elevators at the Funderburk facility. The upgrade will ensure the elevators meet all Kentucky Building Code (KBC) and ASME A17.1-2010 elevator requirements. The work will involve the installation of new equipment, as specified, while reusing and modifying existing components where applicable. 1. Controller System Replacement - Replace existing ESCO controllers with new non-proprietary controllers. - Install new landing systems. - Provide new car-top boxes, serial link communications, and complete rewiring throughout the elevator system. 2. Pump Unit Replacement - Install new submersible pump units, including tanks, valves, motors, mufflers, and pumps. - Add AW32 hydraulic oil as needed to ensure proper operation. 3. Hall Fixtures - Install new stainless-steel surface-mounted hall fixtures, equipped with: - Communication failure indicators. - Firefighter's operation controls. - Access controls at terminal landings. - Digital hall position indicators at the main egress floor. - Hall directional indicators on all floors.
